I´m new here but I've given out several loans already, some have started paying back, most have funded fully and will start paying later. But each project I funded from Ghana are fully funded but money has not been dispersed to the borrowers, what is happening here? Zidisha team is there a reason why it's taking so much longer to deliver money to Ghana? Any other lenders noticed the same issue?
Loan disbursement usually delayed to we the borrowers in Ghana. Also, loan repayment takes too long to be credited to our account compared to other countries like Indonesia. I'm hoping the technical team would do something about it. Thank you
The process turn to affect us in some ways.
Loan disbursement to Ghanaian borrowers usually delayed. One to two weeks before loans are disbursed to us in Ghana is too long. With technology I believed loan disbursement to us in Ghana can be a little bit faster than the two weeks. I accepted my loan on April 29, 2018 today is May 9, 2018 and still I haven't receive my money.
I think the maximum is a week or two. Many of us do not really know the cause of the delay, but still we get the loan. I think Julia can best explain this.

I believe MTN only allows certain staff to process loan disbursements and repayments through the MTN platform, so it depends on particular staff availability, which we appreciate isn't ideal.
I've brought this thread to Julia's attention and asked how we can improve the situation regarding loans to borrowers in Ghana.

I heard back from Julia and she said improvements have now been made.
Very true, I also received calls from members who confirmed that they received disbursement of their loans, three days after acceptance. Always grateful to you for your continues support.
It is true, I accepted my loan on 26may 2018 and up to date I have not received my loan yet,which is very disturbing
I see yours is the same issue as Richmond posted about here:
Your VM hasn't done the review, but it's now been a week, so today your loan has automatically moved to our Pending Disbursements area to be processed. It would still be good to contact him and ask him to do the review, and there's the risk of him being removed as your VM by him not doing it within 3 days.
