Hi, I invited a new member two months age and Zidisha grew emailed me that the member has not yet repaid his loan and they requested me to contact him on their behalf. The member goes by the name Ashioya Otini and I talked to him yesterday and he promised to repay the loan in the next 10 days, he had a sick child admitted in the hospital so he couldn't manage to repay the loan since he had to attend to his child first. I will keep on to push him next week.

If a borrower experiences a bad time then he/she should lower the installment amount. But he/she should always do his/her best to pay something back on the scheduled dates.
And if he/she isn’t able to to pay on a scheduled date then let him/her post a comment why it isn’t possible. This way the lender still knows that the borrower is doing his/her best and he/she can be trusted. Every lender understands that there are difficult periods in someone’s life.
The “worst” thing a borrower can do is if he / she doesn’t pay and doesn’t give any comment. Then a lender doesn’t know what to do.

Ok, I will let him understand that.
Could this have affected my loan from being funded? Because I now have two days left before my application expires and I needed this money urgently.
