    i was told if i pay my loan by 11 june,my credit limit would increase by 3000, but that is not so,i paid the loan by 26 may but the early repayment was not added to my credit limit,why??

    AND WHY DOES IT TAKE LONG FOR LOANS TO BE APPROVED??
    I JUST MADE PAYMENTS AND MY LOAN IS STILL PENDING APPROVAL

    Apologies that this inquiry somehow got approved for publication in error. The forum is meant for general questions (which also can be answered by Volunteer Mentors or other experienced borrowers, or by lenders, not just by staff members.     Account-specific inquiries are supposed to be sent in on a Support Ticket. Please also be aware that it's necessary to wait at least three (3) business days for a reply to a Support Ticket, and that it can take longer when we are short-staffed, which we currently are.

    Business days are Monday through Friday, U.S.A. Eastern Time-Zone.

    It helps to look through the Forum before posting questions, because often you will find that someone else already has asked an identical or very similar question, and that there have been links provided which already would have given you more insight into why things currently are the way they are at Zidisha.

    In a nutshell:

    Please keep in mind that we have well over 200,000 borrowers, and currently only about 25 very part-time volunteers on Staff. That number is further subdivided into small teams, according to borrower country and function. Not every staff member is on every team, not every staff member works here every day, and most staff members work only two or three hours on their chosen days. This is why tasks sometimes take a long time to be completed.
