Is there a way to add funds to my lending account other than by credit card, say by an electronic funds tranfer from my bank? I have become very leery of using my card because of bad experiences in the past where I had no idea of how someone got my card number. If I could do a funds transfer where I and my bank are in control of when and how much is tranferred I would be more comfortable.
I suppose the other option would be to get a low limit card and only use it for Zidisha, but I really don’t want another card.
I always use PayPal and I have linked it to my bank account.
You should also enable Papal’s “two factor authentication”. This way you have to confirm a transaction by retyping the 6 digit pin you receive by sms.
I hope this helps.
paypal is an option when transferring funds out but not when transferring funds into my Zidisha account. At least not what I can see. Please let me know where I can use paypal to add funds to my Zidisha account. Thank you, Joost.
When you're helping to fund a loan, if you don't have any (or enough) re-lending funds available in your account, you can choose to upload funds with a credit card or with a PayPal account, to help fund that particular loan.
It's not possible to add funds to your lending account with a PayPal account, just to add more funds. It has to be in connection with helping to fund a particular loan request.
You can, however, add funds to your lending account with a credit card, just to add more funds for later use. There is no fee charged if you opt for automatic monthly uploads. If you choose a one-time transfer, though, there is a 3.5% fee charged.
