......it comes to when as a borrower, your proposal expires for 3 consecutive times without funding. That is my story.
There are different factors that may lead to this misfortune. Zidisha has decided to stand out and uniquely help entrepreneurs.
Everyone makes mistake, even lenders make financial mistakes in their lives. But I believe that if you see someone coming back to Zidisha after first and second loans, they are here to stay. Sometimes some of us live in places where making money is an odyssey, entrepreneurship is like crime, policies are stringent for start ups and life is simply ready to crush you to pulp. But we continue living because places like Zidisha exist, and no day turns out like the last.
We are just people who want to make a living out of this life. I am borrower who just wants to build a business and defy the status quo.

As a lender I wish I could fund every loan. But I also have to work very hard to be able to transfer money from my bank account to Zidisha.
Most of my loans are funded with money I receive back from borrowers who are neatly repaying their loan. Many, many, many times I see a very good loan profile which I really would like to fund if there was any money left.
So please don’t give up hope and try again.

Hello zidisha I greet u all, this is the second time my loan is not fully funded and I want to know the reason why.my customers are giving me a pain in the neck. They are always calling for my product and I really need this money to inject into the business so that I can satisfy the large number of customers I have accumulated. I have been in this community since 2015 so help me

Yes, 2015 was much better here, because the ratio of lenders to borrowers was more conducive to loans getting fully funded, and often very quickly, too.
There also only was the 5% Service Fee at that time, if memory serves. That's because other fees were not necessary at that time.
Please see this announcement from Julia:
about the reasons why fees are higher now.
Also, to understand more about how Zidisha currently works, please see:
(It's long; however, it answers a lot of what many borrowers often have asked.) ;-)

Hi im Silas frm kenya I hav started enjoying da fruits of being patient & determined on a common goal of financial freedom thou I had started a business & its still on its knees thus stil repay loan on my monthly pay is dea away u cater in dat coz I hav a weekly repayment of 6 dollars & i lng 2 pay once month end.

I too from kenya have been in zidisha since 2014. When the lenders could offer an interest for what they lend and whatever the situation has kept changing , i have never missed a repayment because i have been having it that zidisha never dissappoints at any given momment and so i do try as much too not to dissappoint because i understand that the funds too are relent to other borrowers as i too grow my business.
Untill now that i post a loan proposal that expires without being fully funded twice consecutively am worried what could have gone wrong when i have already given up to all the local microfinance to trust zidisha for my financing since its easy accessing funds which is seeming no more to high credit limits .

Keep your hopes up. Please read all Director announcement on announcement section. You can take partial fund if you want. I know some of borrower from Kenya who atleast have to reapply for more then 2-3 times before he finally fully funded as he applied. Few prefer to take partial fund. I would suggest you to read the link Laurie shared above too. There are no guarantee that each loan will fully funded each time borrower apply loan. Me too have experienced not fully funded untill the limit time, my first loan actually.
So keep your hopes up, and try to apply our director suggestion on her announcement. You still can take partial fund if you want too.
